With the official announcement of OP-16 The Time of Battle, the One Piece Card Game returns to what is arguably the most emotional arc of the entire series, the Summit War of Marineford. The new One Piece TCG booster set releases in Japan on May 30, 2026, with the international English release following on June 12, 2026. For anyone who wants the earliest possible access to the set, we are bringing the Japanese version to the shop as an official Japan Import Drop directly through the ANIICHI Marketplace.

In total, OP-16 The Time of Battle introduces six new Leader cards centered on the Paramount War, including Monkey D. Luffy (Blue/Green, Impel Down), Portgas D. Ace (Red, Whitebeard Pirates), Buggy (Blue), Sengoku (Purple, Navy), Yamato (Black, Wano Country), and Marshall D. Teach (Black/Yellow, Blackbeard Pirates). The color spread covers just about every playstyle and is very likely to shake up the current meta around OP-15 Adventure on Kami's Island, which we already broke down in detail in our OP-15 Set Guide.

The absolute highlight of the set is that, for the first time, a regular booster contains three Manga Rares. They feature the three Marine Admirals Kuzan (Aokiji), Borsalino (Kizaru), and Sakazuki (Akainu), each rendered in classic Oda manga style with gold foil and a textured finish. With this move, Bandai pushes the rarity structure of the One Piece TCG Paramount War era to an entirely new level. Full card information, effects, and artworks will follow at a later point here in the ANIICHI Forum. Once OP-16 is officially available, all new cards will also go live directly in our One Piece TCG Catalog.
